Levi meets his Great Grandpa Hensley

Levi met his great grandpa in Illinois for the first time this December. Doesn't he look like Santa Claus?

Popping corn

So I saved the popcorn I got from orchard trip earlier this year and brought it home to Illinois. My niece Raven was amazed at the fact popcorn comes fromcorn. Here are our pictures.

Home in Illinois

Levi got to see a lot of his cousins and hang out today. He got to play with cousin Aiden today, and then he saw his girl cousins later on. We also saw his boy cousins and maybe we can get some pictures with them later!
Cousin Ember is not used to people smaller than her. SHe had to explore.
She was kissing him in her fashion. That means she was putting her open mouth and putting on his open mouth. Sounds yummy.
Here is Cousin Aiden excited to beby his little cousin!
Levi is fascinated by taking his pacifier out of his mouth then putting it back in again.
This is my favorite picture. I played with the light. It turned out soo sweet!

Here is Levi starting to discover his legs and the fact he can get them up to his mouth.

Wii Party!

I love babysitting older kids. You stick in pizza, turn on the Wii, and let the kids have fun while you scrapbook on the floor next to them. Easy! Cindy's kids came over and made pizza with me. They were very creative. Hanging out with them made me wonder how Levi will turn out....

GOING HOME!!!

Levi by his first Christmas tree!

Patrick and I are leaving tomorrow and we will not be back until next year, so I thought I had better post about our familia before we go.

Levi
Levi will be 6 months old this month. He is the funniest little boy ever! He is such a happy little guy and only fusses for food or when he is tired. He has a really unique way of letting me know when he is done napping. If his eyes are open and he's smiling, he is ready to get up. If his eyes are open and he sticks his lower lip out in a pout, leave him alone. This is a great way to start the day, even if he starts smiling at 6:15 a.m. He is really tall for his age. He is in the 90% percentile at about 281/2 inches long. He weighs about 16 pounds, and looks exactly like his dad. It looks like he is going to keep his blue eyes, and his hair is really starting to thicken up. He is growing out of his 3-6 month clothes, and will soon be to big for his car seat!

He rolls over sometimes, and is starting to like standing up and bouncing. He is starting to blow raspberries, aka spit at people, make high pitched squeals, and coo. He is a great smiler and makes every day a joy!

Patrick
Patrick just got back from an overnight scout trip. He is feeling a little stressed out at work because he is switching to a new division, and is going to be expected to help out a lot with the position he just left. He is such a good dad and he is such a great example to me on magnifying his calling. He is always trying to get things done the right way and puts in tons of effort to get things done the right way the first time. He is full of fun and so awesome to be around (except when his fantasy football team is losing).

ME
I am loving staying at home. I thought I would go crazy, but I have a new hobby - COUPONING! I am constantly amazed at all the things you can get for free using coupons and special promotions. I love staying at home with my little guy, but always try to get out of the house at least once so I don't feel cooped up. Primary is going well. I am sooooo glad I am only a second counselor. I never realized how much work being in a presidency was! I am working with some amazing women, and I love how our bonds of friendship deepen as we work together to help the Primary children learn about the gospel.

Emily's Baby Shower!

Emily is expecting her baby in 5 weeks! We had a baby shower for her this Saturday. She looked amazing! She has a small baby bump and is positively glowing!
Here are some pictures of the guests!
Here we are trying to cut the string to be the circumference of Emily's belly. Kelltie was the closest!

Opening presents!

Time to go!

Congrats Emily! We hope you had fun!

Patrick took a few (ahem) pictures of Levi...

This is my absolute favorite! Patrick is a great picture taker, but our camera is so old and lousy that a lot of the shots look blurry. I hope we get a new one for Christmas!

I love this one too!
