Levi is 8 months old!

I wanted to take pictures of Levi in his diaper for his 8 month birthday, but I remembered after I had already clothed him for the day. So I kicked myself and thought," I'll try to get him tonight before bed". Welllllll, turns our Levi must have really wanted to take pictures in his diaper, because he had an explosion that required a massive wardrobe adjustment, so here are his 8 month old pictures!

The most awful week ever!!!

Looking at this face all day long is sometimes the only thing that gets me through!

Levi's favorite thing to do -pull off and eat socks!

Blowing more raspberries!
Hahaha I love this expression!

It has been a long, terrible week. The highlight of my week was my baby and my husband. Patrick really hauled butt yesterday to help me get the entire house clean and to get the laundry done, plus he went shopping with me for 3 hours. 3 HOURS!!!!! Then last night we went to a game night and played some hilarious games that left me practically crying from laughing so hard! Plus, Levi learned to really laugh this week. He just giggles and giggles and giggles at the silliest things! LAst night, he laughed for 30 minutes straight at all the people playing games. Here are some pictures from this week.
My baby looks really rolly polly here! He must be about to hit another growth spurt!

Sometimes the best Valentines are free!

Miles and Levi time!

My favorite Picture!!!

Levi is quality control testing every toy for Miles. What a nice boy!
Peek-A-Boo!
Fun angles to keep MIles from grabbing the lens. He was bemused for a minute!
Levi loves hanging out at Miles house! There are so many awesome toys!!
I'm tired but you can't make me sleep!
No one could resist a face like this!
What a handsome boy!
AHA! WE caught you in the act Miles!

MY AWESOME HUSBAND

My Roses~!
Levi doesn't know we're about to give him to someone else for a few hours here.

Us going on a date alone for the first time in 7 1/2 months!

Yesterday was really busy for me and I ended up running around like crazy. I had some errands and a doctor's appointment, in which Levi got an unexpected shot, and then we finally got to go home and relax. It was around 3:30 when I heard a knock on my door. Since I wasn't expecting anyone, I looked through the peep hole. Outside my door is my husband with a bouquet of roses. I let him in and he says" Go get ready for our date!". Turns out my awesome husband had arranged for a babysitter, a movie, flowers, dinner and a Dairy Queen dessert. We had a great time and I was so impressed that he would go to so much trouble to make secret arrangements so we could have our first real date (without baby) for Valentines Day. We even went to a movie he had already seen but I hadn't because he knew I wanted to see it! Here are some pictures I took, but I was kind of busy, so I got Levi's first nonfamily babysitters ( I will admit I cried when I dropped him off!), and my flowers. And of course, one of me and Patrick. Happy Valentines Day to me!

Thank you Driskill family! (Do you see the look Levi is giving me? I felt so guilty leaving him!)

Levi's Good Buddy Miles

We got to go over and see one of Levi's most favorite people in the whole world ~MILES!!! We were there while his brothers went to a dentist appointment. Here are some pictures of my two cuties!

SNOW DAY!

It is supposed to snow here a lot. We are supposed to get up to a foot of snow. Right now we have about 3-4 inches, but it is nonstop snowing right now, so I am sure we will have a foot before it is supposed to end tomorrow afternoon. Patrick is working from home today which is really nice for me. It isn't that he is talking to me or anything, it's really just having another person around that makes the day seem to go faster. Here are some awesome pictures Patrick took of Levi!

My Poor Sick Baby

Levi was not feeling well this last week and I finally took him into the doctors on Monday because he was breathing funny. At the clinic, they gave him a breathing treatment, and because it didn't help as much as they thought it should, I am the new owner of a nebulizer and Levi gets breathing treatments every four hours. The poor little guy hates them though and cries bloody murder. Unless his dad is holding him, then he's great (just to make me look like a liar!) He is doing much better, although he is still wheezy. He is sleeping better though, which is great because I couldn't take much more of the up every hour of the night stuff.

The only down side is his medicine is a steroid, and he acts like a crack baby for a while after he takes it. He shakes, moves all over, looks all over, and generally uses more energy than he actually has so then he crashes and is a crank until I can get him to sleep.
