Minnesota can be cool sometimes....No I don't mean the weather....

I was doing some stuff around the house and kept hearing people honk. Finally, I looked put the window to see what the fuss was about and saw geese!! A whole flock was picnicing on our street! Cool!!

Sissy Hockey game

Patrick won some awesome hockey tickets to see the Minnesota Wild vs. the St.Louis something or others, and I was really hoping since this was the pros, it would really be a fight where a hockey game would break out. Instead, it was a hockey game. Period. Sigh......

At least I had fun with Levi!! It was so cold I wrapped him up in the sheet I brought to cover up while I was feeding him, and he looked like a little Arabian baby.

Levi smiles for his daddy!!!

Here are some awesome pictures my little stinker put out for his daddy!! I would annoyed if he wasn't so darn cute! :)

My days are so awesome!!!

I was worried I would be bored being a stay at home mom, but it's totally awesome!!! My baby and I have a routine, and we love hanging out together!! He changes so much week to week and I am so glad of the opportunity to stay at home and watch him grow!!! Thanks Patrick!!

Happy Anniversary!!

I have been married to this awesome guy for two years now. I wanted to send flowers to work so other people would see how much someone loves him, but he vetoed flowers. Soooooo I found this cool place that sends fruit in a decorative way and sent that instead. Cool, eh?

Patrick was so surprised and really liked it!!Especially the sponge bob vase!! We had such a good time celebrating our anniversary. We got presents from the anniversary fairy ( I got a rice cooker. YAH!), we went disc golfing, we ate at our favorite restaurant Ruby Tuesdays, we played games at Dave and Busters, and then I gave Patrick a huge surprise - a massage!! By someone else who actually does a good job!!!

I spent the whole day thankful for my husband and trying to remember what life before him and Levi was like. I couldn't really remember, and I didn't really care. I'm pretty sure that's because my life is so much cooler now then it ever used to be. So yesterday was truly a celebration for me.

Jen came to see me!

My good friend Jen and her awesome daughter Lexi came to see me Friday night. Jen, Sabrina, Amanda and I used to be really tight friends. We would hang out every Sunday and do tons of stuff together. Jen now lives 2 hours away from Amanda and Sabrina, and I live 6 hours away. It has been hard to keep in touch, but Jen and Lexi finally got to come and see me.
Here is Lexi playing the Wii. She played Mario cart and kept running into the wall.

I love a Dirty Sweaty Man

Patrick and his dad got down and dirty fixing up our house this weekend. They added some insulation to the back of our house where we had some pipes freezing last winter. It looks great and I can tell they were really proud of their hard work. It has even inspired Patrick to think of more stuff around the house he could fix up, so today he went around and got rid of a lot of old yucky, useless wires coming out of our house and made it look so much more tidy.

Visiting my old class!

The school district I used to work for has a really cool tradition called Step-Back day. All the students get to go back to see their old teacher on the first Friday for a half hour to tell him/her about their new teacher and their summer. So, I went back to school with Levi to see my kids. I couldn't believe how big they were! They were really excited to see Levi and were amazed when I told them he probably recognized their voices.

My Pot Bellied Baby

Back when I was skinny, my family and friends used to make fun of me because of a certain funny thing my belly would do when I ate. After a big meal, I would develop a temporary pot belly. So tonight, after I fed Levi, I was changing him after he spit up on his outfit for the ninth time when I happened to notice......POTBELLY!!! I guess he does take after me in some ways after all!

This weekend our sister Cheryl had surgery, so we drove down to Iowa to help her recuperation. After a few days with her and Patrick's parents, we drove to Illinois to spend some time with my family. We had a BBQ Sunday and EVERYONE was there to see Levi. Here are some great pictures of Levi and the rest of my family.
