GOING HOME!!!

Levi by his first Christmas tree!

Patrick and I are leaving tomorrow and we will not be back until next year, so I thought I had better post about our familia before we go.

Levi
Levi will be 6 months old this month. He is the funniest little boy ever! He is such a happy little guy and only fusses for food or when he is tired. He has a really unique way of letting me know when he is done napping. If his eyes are open and he's smiling, he is ready to get up. If his eyes are open and he sticks his lower lip out in a pout, leave him alone. This is a great way to start the day, even if he starts smiling at 6:15 a.m. He is really tall for his age. He is in the 90% percentile at about 281/2 inches long. He weighs about 16 pounds, and looks exactly like his dad. It looks like he is going to keep his blue eyes, and his hair is really starting to thicken up. He is growing out of his 3-6 month clothes, and will soon be to big for his car seat!

He rolls over sometimes, and is starting to like standing up and bouncing. He is starting to blow raspberries, aka spit at people, make high pitched squeals, and coo. He is a great smiler and makes every day a joy!

Patrick
Patrick just got back from an overnight scout trip. He is feeling a little stressed out at work because he is switching to a new division, and is going to be expected to help out a lot with the position he just left. He is such a good dad and he is such a great example to me on magnifying his calling. He is always trying to get things done the right way and puts in tons of effort to get things done the right way the first time. He is full of fun and so awesome to be around (except when his fantasy football team is losing).

ME
I am loving staying at home. I thought I would go crazy, but I have a new hobby - COUPONING! I am constantly amazed at all the things you can get for free using coupons and special promotions. I love staying at home with my little guy, but always try to get out of the house at least once so I don't feel cooped up. Primary is going well. I am sooooo glad I am only a second counselor. I never realized how much work being in a presidency was! I am working with some amazing women, and I love how our bonds of friendship deepen as we work together to help the Primary children learn about the gospel.
